Just Start
Just start.
You may not think you have everything you need. That might even be true, but do the first thing now anyway.
Just start — especially if the action is reversible. Most things are.
You might consider:
Moving to another country. You can always move back if you don’t like it.
Applying to that job you’re not qualified for. The worst that can happen is that they say “no”.
Starting to learn that skill you’ve always envied others possessing. If you’re unsuccessful, at least you know you tried.
Commit to 20 hours of focused practice. You can become proficient in most skills within just 20 hours of deep work. Remember, you can always quit after 20 hours if you don’t enjoy it.
Some experiments won’t yield the results you expect.
Either way, you’re not likely to regret it.
To get where you want to go you might have to fail — not just once but many times.
